Dawn's story so far

February 2003: Dawn Nicole Smith steals a prescription pad from a UK dentist's office.

September-November 2003: She writes prescriptions for 540 pills.

January 2004: Dawn is indicted for obtaining pills fraudulently and theft of a prescription pad.

March 25, 2004: After pleading guilty, Dawn enters drug court.

March-May 2004: Dawn tests positive five times for using opiates.

July 2004: Dawn is pregnant with her fourth child.

Aug. 12, 2004: Dawn tests positive for opiates.

Aug. 26, 2004: Dawn starts inpatient treatment at the Schwartz Center in Lexington.

Sept. 30, 2004: Dawn enters a residential treatment program; she's kicked out Dec. 10 for lying.

Feb. 24, 2005: Her daughter, Mary Caitlin Smith, is born.

October 2005: Dawn is pregnant with her stepfather's baby.
